Our Team

Jenn Sunnerton, Founder/CEO

Jenn started in broadcast journalism for Discovery Channel and other major broadcasters. She became curious about how traditional television would survive the internet. Her curiosity led her down the rabbit hole of digital marketing and Broadcast You (formerly Moko Media) was born.

Jeff Blundell, Executive Producer - Podcast Division

Jeff is a pioneer in the world of Branded Content Podcasts. In 2016, when the genre was still in its infancy, he produced the award-winning series “Decoding Genius” for General Electric. Since then, he has created podcasts for OnStar, Facebook, BMW, and CBS Television. His American history series “Bring Back Bronco” combines the stories of OJ Simpson, Martin Luther King, and Ford’s iconic off-road truck. The result was a smash hit that boosted demand for the 2021 model and changed the way Ford creates content. His latest creation, “Inside the Breakthrough” for the biotech company ‘SciMar,’ is a quirky look at how science and innovation has evolved over the centuries.

When he isn’t writing and recording, Jeff is a youth baseball coach and a competitive sailor.

Merissa Simonian, Senior Producer

Merissa brings a unique energy and skill set to Broadcast You. Her experience as a reality and lifestyle director and producer for the last 15 years has afforded her the opportunity to travel the world interviewing a diverse group of people while crafting compelling stories through real life experiences.

Working as a story producer on shows like Amazing Race Canada, Bachelor Canada and directing series like, The Property Brothers, has taught her how to be flexible in the moment and tap into the real heart of a story.

In her free time, you will find Merissa indulging in her favorite things: cooking, yoga, playing with her dog and most importantly spending time with her daughter.

Michael Alinez, Digital Marketing Director
